Before you start

Three quick things to line up before you connect your AI assistant. Most advertisers finish this in under 10 minutes.

3 prerequisites~10 minutes

  1. Install the Membrane app

    Membrane is a progressive web app — it lives in your browser and you can pin it to your home screen like a regular app.

    1. Visit nfthing.com in Chrome, Safari, or Edge.
    2. Follow the on-site prompts to install the app.
    3. Sign up with email (one-time passcode) or Google.

  2. Get advertiser access for your company

    Approval needed

    Advertiser access is granted by the Membrane team — it's not self-serve. Send us a quick note and we'll usually have you set up within one business day.

    Mention your company name and the product or brand you plan to run campaigns for. If someone at your company already has advertiser access, let us know their email so we can add you to the same workspace.

  3. Have a Claude or ChatGPT subscription

    Membrane MCP works with Claude.ai and ChatGPT. You'll need a plan that supports custom connectors.

    Paid plans

    Pro, Team, Enterprise, or Edu. Developer mode must be enabled (we'll walk you through it).

Pick your assistant and connect

Connect Claude.ai

Add the Membrane custom connector, sign in, and you're ready. The whole flow takes about two minutes.

Good to know
The connector URL you'll paste in Claude or ChatGPT is https://mcp.nfthing.com/mcp. You only set it up once per assistant — from then on, Membrane shows up in your list of connectors.
